Introducing an Investment Manager for the Digital Age: Øks Capital Management

Oslo, 22 April 2022 - The newest investment manager in the Nordics and one of the first to exclusively focus on digital assets, Øks Capital Management AS will pursue initial talks with potential investors in connection with raising efforts for its maiden fund. Øks Capital was founded in 2021 by Frikk Vermedal and additional stakeholders to provide institutions, family offices and private investors with exposure to the rapidly evolving cryptocurrency sector.

Øks Capital Management will undergo formal review and registration with the Norwegian FSA prior to the launch of its maiden fund. The aim of the rising digital asset manager is to capitalize on the recent growth of the cryptocurrency sector and the future development of the digital asset management space. The global crypto asset management market size is projected to grow from USD 0.4 billion in 2021 to USD 1.2 billion by 2026, at a Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 21.5% during the forecast period.
